The mission of the Ministry is: to provide spiritual, physical, and practical training to women and young girls, as well as, emotional and social support, to ensure they reach their divine purpose and destiny. The workshops and training provided to women empowers them to make the changes in their lives that would otherwise be difficult to accomplish. It may encompass them changing careers, basic living skills, or even their mental status that promotes a balanced living of health and wellness.
We encourage women to release the power bestowed within us all. Our goal is to work with women and girls in developing a plan to channel the women visions and skills in a manner that allows them to walk in an attitude of “Excellence.” As 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the tax deductible contributions allow the Ministry to provide these services to the community.

Dr. H. Jean McEntire
Founder
Dr. H. Jean is an avid student of the Bible and is a prolific writer of inspirational books, She is a wife, mother of two, and grandmother of four. Beneath her soft-spoken demeanor is wisdom, grace, and a powerful anointed voice. Her messages of faith, hope and possibility teaches others to trust God to turn their ashes to beauty as they let His Word become alive in them.She was called to ministry in 1995 and ordained in 1998. She served as assistant pastor of the Olivet Baptist Church, co-pastor of Everybody's Tabernacle and she presently pastors with her husband, Alexander McEntire, at Word Alive Ministries, Inc. God has charged them with the responsibility of offering life to the spiritually dead, to heal the physical weak, deliver those who are bound, and renew the minds of the Body of Christ through the uncompromising preaching and teaching of His Word. She is founder of the Beauty for Ashes Annual Conference, which ministers to hurting women.Jean is a woman of integrity who lives like she preaches. She has been recognized by two national publications, several local ones and civil organizations for her outstanding leadership. This woman of God will inspire your life as she pours out the oil of the Spirit and radiates the light of the Word of God. Her teaching is concise and forceful but so simple that even a small child can understand it. She is called to teach others to apply the Word to their lives and make it relevant to their situation. She is committed to empowering Christians to live life victoriously through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Ghost! She'll launch you into your purpose to glorify God!
