Please join us in interceding for the Beauty for Ashes 2024 Gathering. Please see the prayer points below.

1. Positioning Ourselves Before God's Calling. Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom Shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, Here am I. Send Me!” This verse emphasizes how crucial it is to position ourselves to answer God's divine call and be open to serving Him.

2. Expecting inner healing and deliverance. Psalm 147:4, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” This verse shows us God’s promises to bring healing to those who are brokenhearted and in need of deliverance, encouraging attendees to expect God’s transformative work in their inner selves.

3. Submitting to God’s Higher Ways and Thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” This passage emphasizes the sovereignty of God and the importance of aligning ourselves with His higher ways and thoughts, trusting that His plans are beyond our own understanding and control.

4. Expecting a Great Transformation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creations have come. The old has gone away, the new is here!” The scripture speaks to the transformative power of being in Christ, emphasizing the expectation of great transformation from the inside out for every individual attending the gathering.

5. Offering of Fees and Costs as unto the Lord. Proverbs 3:9–10 states, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be overflowing. And your vats will brim over with new wine.” This scripture emphasizes the concept of offering unto the Lord from our resources, trusting in His provision and blessings in return for our faithfulness.

6. Exchanging ashes for beauty. Isaiah 61:3. “To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.” This verse beautifully illustrates God’s promise to exchange our ashes for beauty and bring forth joy, praise, and righteousness in place of despair, mourning, and brokenness.

We believe that these prayer points and scriptures will provide strength and encouragement as you intercede for the Beauty for Ashes Gathering, believing in the transformative work that God will accomplish in the lives of all who serve and attend, as well as those who do not or are not able to attend.

Blessings to you,
